Oak Bay Village Night Market
Produce farmers, artists, artisans and craftspeople set up for the evening along Oak Bay Avenue again on June 16th for the Oak Bay Village Night Market. The June produce theme was local tomatoes, with heritage and non-heritage varieties for sale as well as a range of seasonal spring vegetables including peppers, cucumbers and lettuce. At the same time, wood-turned bowls, handmade greeting cards, glass art, paper casting, fabric arts, jewelery, fresh made soaps and cosmetics and preserves were also on display and for sale.
With a number of food vendors set up for the market and Victoria's Morris Dancers and the Swing Street Band providing entertainment through the evening, the June market was once again a very popular event
