Dodgeball!
There are many activities classified as sports with which I would simply call glorified activities; sports like golf, bowling and darts for example. However dodgeball, that bruise-inducing playground activity of our youths, really does deserve to be called a sport. Don't let the spandex, painted faces and totally inappropriate team names fool you. Those foam balls are surprisingly heavy and are moving at terminal speed. I'd be hard pressed to think of a more deadly sport to be photographing besides an NBA playoff game from behind the backboard sidelines. Sadly there is just not enough room here to show you all the glorious photos from this annual event so you'll have to go online to see the rest. But for now, enjoy... and duck!
