Out of towners Karisa, Annika, Perveen and Mona got to experience the bobsleigh - stationary though it was!

SNAP'd at the Olympics!

The orld came and we threw a sunny (er, WINTER) party that tossed out perceptions that Vancouver's a "no-fun" city! Even opponents of the Olympics had to agree that true Canadian spirit rose to the forefront as Vancouver (and Whistler) became a bustling sea of red and white - amid visitors supporting colours of their home nations accompanied by those must-have red mittens!
From Alexandre Bilodeau's inspiring story and Canada's first ever gold medal at home to the frantic nail-biting shoot-out win for Team Canada over Switzerland in game two of men's hockey, there were cheers and "Oh Canada" heard all around the city and no doubt the country - as SNAP Victoria was on hand to capture some of scenes from the first week of the 2010 Winter Olympics!
