Fourth Annual Firefighters "Making Muscles Move"
Canadian Fire Fighters have played an integral role in raising money for Muscular Dystrophy Canada since 1954. Over six hundred fire departments and their associations raise in excess of $2 million annually. Langford Fire and Rescue are no exception and are proud to help "search for a cure" through fundraising events like the fourth annual "Making Muscles Move". Feb 14th was great morning for the five km walk with prizes, music and firefighters chili waiting at the finish line. With the help of forty three registered runners, $1,665 was raised! Thank-you to the Volunteers of Langford Fire and Rescue and The Running Room for a job well done!
