Monk Expo 2010
"Our business is like a family" James McKenzie, co-owner of the Monks Office chain tells us as he greets people coming in to the 20th Annual Monk Expo this past January. Watching him chat with customers and employees, it's easy to see that he means it.
Monk's has been Island owned since 1963 and has managed to stay competitive even while major chains have moved into town. They are also incredibly green, having been certified in a wide number of different environmentally sustainable sectors including the stringent ISO 140001 certification.
At their annual expo, there were more than 40 different office products, furniture suppliers and manufacturers with a bevy of new items, environmentally friendly solutions and the latest in ergonomic products, all designed to make your office a place that suits your needs
