Winter Wassail

'Wassail' from the Anglo Saxon term wæs hæil, meaning “Be Healthy” and that's exactly what over three hundred people did on January 16th at Sea Cider in Central Saanich as they all gathered to celebrate and give thanks for this years apple harvest. The crowds came out to sit around the bonfires that were burning around the stunning property to sip on some warm cider and catch up with neighbours and friends at the hugely popular open house. This event, which is in it's second year, featured music and great food and was the perfect way to spend a cold January afternoon!
