Visions Fundraising Gala
In support of local hospitals, Visions organized one of the years biggest events which was held at the Fairmont Empress on November 14th. Since its inception, Visions has raised close to $3 million for priority medical equipment at both Victoria General and Royal Jubilee Hospitals. This black-tie event was to thrown to help benefit the Intensive Care Unit in their quest to buy six new life saving ventilators. Twenty-five sponsors - including Thrifty Foods and the Fairmont Empress helped in Visions quest by donating a terrific array of items for this year's auction. VIHA's President & Chief Executive Officer Howard Waldner spoke to the crowd and thanked everyone for such a strong commitment to health care in our community. The event was sold-out success!
